Product Design
Product design involves developing an understanding of a problem, to allow solutions to be conceived and created which address the root causes and symptoms. Good design is functional, elegant and innovative.
The product design process incorporates many areas of design;
industrial design, engineering design, prototyping & development, detailed design, and product visualisation.

Process & Principles
Concept Generation
A process of exploring ideas and divergent thinking. This stage is fast and loose, generating as many concepts as possible, analysis comes later.
Whether you’re starting on a new project, or developing an existing project, incorporating concept generation into the process will provide a wide range of ideas to build upon.
Testing & Development
Once possibilities have been fully explored, in-depth analysis and testing provides robust and tangible feedback.
Testing and development ensures the best design solutions are made. Design decisions have the greatest impact on the success of any product.
Detailed Design
Details are everything. During detailed design, every outcome and step is considered.
The result of detailed design is an effective means to communicate designs with suppliers, manufacturers and customers. This step produces a concrete design, which, if required can be pulled through the design process again.
Support
To help customers find the right products, customers need to understand the product.
Additional material is often required to communicate products; product visualisations, packaging design, supplier liaison
